Emily Kwan is a communication & food designer based in Hong Kong. Her main focus spans varies types of design including branding, visual identities, graphic prints, packaging and art direction on both digital and analogue platforms.
Majoring in communication design at the university, she loves drawing inspirations from daily life, exploring the small joys around her, and aspires to impact lives through design. Her greatest satisfaction comes from turning design challenges into impactful solutions, with the strong belief of the philosophy of converying message through simple and meticulous design.
She also holds a deep passion for food and hopes to blend food and communication design. After obtaining a Master degree in Food Design and Innovation in Italy, she hopes to work transdisciplinarily across different parties, with food as a common language to enhance and delight food experiences for everyone in a multi-sensorial way. Now she’s on her exploration in Studio Cibo.
